We built a self-correcting lead scoring and routing system using n8n and Resend. The pipeline follows these steps:
- Intake: Form submissions write directly to the Supabase database, triggering an database change webhook.
- Data Enrichment: An enrichment node queries domain records to identify company size, revenue estimates, and industry vertical.
- Scoring Logic: An evaluation script calculates a score: enterprise targets get +50, consulting bookings get +60, and free-domain submissions are set to normal priority.
- CRM Sync & Notification: The lead syncs to the HubSpot CRM, and a Slack webhook alerts our team with a summary of the client's profile.
Personalized Confirmations with Resend
Once scored, an automated request triggers the Resend API to send a tailored email confirmation. Rather than sending generic newsletter text, the system chooses from three dynamic templates based on the computed lead priority, ensuring that potential enterprise clients receive immediate booking invitations, while standard queries receive resources.
